Hi and welcome to Runyans Rock Appaloosas.





We have had appaloosas since the 60's, have done our share of showing, trail rides, and
other things with them.  We have stood several stallions over the years and bred to other
stallions.  We have had several mares and foals over the years but have always been taken
with the black leopards. Since getting older we have cut back to just a few and last year
bought a couple of POA's to play with.


Please be patient as we are just starting our website. Hopefully we will be up and running
before spring!  Check back again.

RUNYANS ROCK APPALOOSAS
BODACIOUSLY BLACK, 2000 MARE
We call her Furby.  She's a loud black leopard mare by Dr Forego and out of Ms Ohs So Bright (pedigrees are on All
Breed Pedigree).  FURBY'S PEDIGREE

Needless to say we LOVE leopards at our place!
SKIP THE MALPRACTICE - 96 GELDING
This is Skip, our last stallion who is now a gelding.  He's by Dr Forego (a leopard) and out of Bright Sky Bandit. His
pedigree is on all breed pedigree SKIPS PEDIGREE
Skip produced some nice babies for us over the years but then we decided to stop having babies and decided to geld
him and ride him.  
Skip when he was a stallion are the first 3 pictures then as a
gelding a couple of winters ago with Furby in the back of the
photo.
ITCH - MARE
This is Itch in late winter a couple of
years ago. She is a chestnut with
blanket over the hips. Picture is darker
than she really is.
